What you need to know:

You must register by completing the form linked below.

Deliveries will be from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Thanksgiving Day.

Drivers will need to be at Grace United Methodist Church, (219 W. Mulberry St, Kokomo) at 10:00 AM Thanksgiving morning (November 23rd). We will have people directing traffic and providing you with delivery information when you arrive.

Red Ribbon Christmas boxes contain gifts for every member of your household, paper products, hygiene items, and a grocery gift card to help you celebrate Christmas. This is an income-qualified program.

Requirements for Income-Qualifying

  1. A current government issued photo ID required for person applying.                              
  2. Social Security cards and Birth Certificates or proof of birth dates for all household members.             
  3. Proof of household income—this could be one of the following items:

A food stamp card along with a grocery receipt less than 30 days-old. Receipt must show an EBT F/S balance greater than $0.00 sometime during the last 30 days. 

Current letter from Family Services documenting you are approved for food stamps and date approved.

Recent award letter from Medicaid, TANF, WIC, SSI, or SSDI or a letter stating that an application has been approved for government assistance. These letters may be obtained from the appropriate agency.

If you live in subsidized housing (you receive government assistance with paying your rent) you MUST show a copy of your lease or the current re-certification letter.

A copy of last years IRS 1040 Tax form.

We want you to be a part of our Red Ribbon Christmas Program by delivering gifts to those who qualify! We will deliver in Howard County on Friday, December 15, 2023 beginning at 7:30 AM.

Every year we hold our Red Ribbon Christmas Outreach that provides gifts, toys, groceries, and toiletries for families and individuals around North Central Indiana. But we have thousands of gifts to wrap and need volunteers to help us prepare for the Christmas season. Sign up below to help us continue this amazing program.

Back to School Assistance Program 2024

We are once again offering our Back to School Assistance Program, where we give NEW shoes, NEW socks, and NEW undergarments to income-qualifying families with students 5-18 years-old entering K-12 (while supplies last).


Back to School Assistance runs:

  • Tuesday, July 9 (10:00 AM-Noon, 3:00-6:00 PM)
  • Wednesday, July 10 (Noon-3:00 PM)
  • Thursday, July 11 (2:00-6:00 PM)
  • Friday, July 12 (10:00 AM-1:00 PM)


*To qualify for assistance, student MUST be present & accompanied by parent/guardian. Student MUST be 5-18 years-old and entering K-12.


WHAT TO BRING TO QUALIFY:

  1. Student (5-18 yrs old, entering K-12) must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian
  2. Photo ID and Social Security Card of parent/legal guardian
  3. Student’s birth certificate and Social Security Card
  4. Proof of income for all household members:        


  • A copy of last years IRS 1040 form
  • A letter from Family Services FSSA documenting that you are approved for food stamps and date approved
  • Show a food stamp card along with a grocery receipt that is less than 30 days old. The receipt must show an EBT F/S purchase in the last 30 days with a remaining balance.
  • A recent award letter from TANF, SSI or SSDI. These letters may be obtained at the appropriate agency.
  • If you live in subsidized housing (you receive assistance with paying your rent) you MUST show a copy of your lease or the most recent re-certification letter.
